Just a reminder, Headlands Playgroup are looking forward to welcoming all new starters and their parents/ carers to an open morning on Monday 3rd September between 9:30-11 am.

This is a great opportunity for the children to explore the setting without any of the established children being present and for them to become familiar with the setting and the staff. If you haven’t returned your registration forms please bring them along.

Term starts properly on Wednesday 5th September.

Headlands – September Sessions

Sessions for September

Thanks to all parents who have returned the slip stating session preferences for next September.

I am giving priority to children already in playgroup so can guarantee you the sessions requested.

It looks like we will be very busy, once again next year, so if you want to increase sessions later on in the year please let me know now before I allocate sessions to children on the waiting list.

New Committee Treasurer!

New Committee Treasurer!

We are very grateful to Jen Horne (who has a son,  Jacob at Headlands) who has agreed to stand as treasurer for the committee.

The current committee have worked tirelessly to ensure that playgroup is in a really good position financially and structurally to weather future committee changes and challenges from legislative changes to increases in minimum wage.

If you’d like to be part of the committee and ensure that Haxby Playgroups remains a viable community organisation meeting the needs of families within the local area then please join the committee. More members are always welcome.

If you want to know more talk to one of the committee members, Juliette or email Ailsa Batters

email Ailsa Batters: if you’d like to know more about the committee.
