Headlands – Missing Story Sacks

Headlands – Missing Story Sacks

One of our story sacks is missing!
If you have borrowed the three little pigs story sack please return it as soon as possible. It is no problem if some of the contents have gone missing as we can always re-stock, but the sacks themselves took considerable time and effort to make.

Important note regarding pick up time:

Pickuptime is 12:00pm or 3:00pm. We try to open doors 10 minutes before to ensure that pick up time is calm and not too hectic.

Staff try to be available to chat to parents at the end of the day but there is also a lot of tidying up to do!

We understand that parents are sometimes delayed unavoidably, but we’ve noticed that quite often there are still 5 or 6 children remaining at 5 past 3 with the resulting knock on effect that staff cannot leave on time.

Please respect the fact that we do not charge late collection fees like some private
nurseries. Many thanks in advance.

Half Term starts Friday 9th of Feb

30 Hours Funding – important

Just a reminder about the need to reconfirm your eligibility for the 30 hours free childcare every 3 months.

Once re-confirmed, please take bring your new reference number into the setting.

Don’t ignore the reminder emails, or you may lose your free childcare place.

Please check GOV.uk website for latest information regarding the 30 hours free Childcare

Reconfirming your eligibility

Every three months, you’ll need to reconfirm that you’re still eligible for 30 hours free childcare. You’ll be reminded to reconfirm you’re still eligible 4 weeks before the deadline. If you also receive Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll be able to reconfirm your eligibility for both schemes at the same time. You don’t need to take your code to your provider or local authority every time you reconfirm however, you should notify your provider if you fall out of eligibility. You can apply for 30 hours free childcare for another child at any time. The point at which you’ll need to reconfirm will be aligned for all children. This means that you won’t need to go online to reconfirm at different points in the month for each child. If you don’t reconfirm, your childcare provider and local authority will be told that you no longer meet the requirements for a free childcare place.

If you become ineligible you may still be able to access your free childcare place for a short period, known as a ‘start up period’. You can check what your start up period arrangements are with your childcare provider or local authority. If you’re no longer eligible, you can still access the 15 hour universal early education entitlement for 3 and 4-year-olds.
